Malawi is a small African nation of 13 million people, bordering Mozambique, Zambia, and Tanzania. In the summer of 2006, we traveled to Malawi to learn more about the country and its people. The pages on the left will navigate you through the various subjects I covered in Malawi such as: Identity politics, democratic transition, youth development through sports, grass roots organization, and other topics such as wildlife and travel. Documentary videos can be viewed in the Video Index. For a brief survey of our trip see the Malawi Teaser. The Dearing Dialogue is my personal blog on topics such as: foreign affairs, politics, philosophy, and travel. Feel free to send me an email or leave comments in the Guestbook. Latest Updates: 10 Nov 2007 ¨ Launch of Sports Alliance of Malawi 501(c)(3) ¨ Blog: Section 65 Dropped ¨ Blog: Malawi Population Growth ¨ Malawi Nation Article on donation to National Women’s Football Club. ¨ Conversations with Malawi - Dr. Sam Mchombo ¨ Dr. Mchombo on Prisons, Health, and Amayi Achifundo Orphanage - Part 1 & Part 2
